12.12 Who at our company receives Publisher Pitches, and can we add someone?

Who receives Publisher Pitch notifications at your company, how to add another contact, and how this works for agency-managed accounts.

Written by Meesha Price

Publisher Pitch notifications are sent to the contacts configured to receive Publisher Pitch emails for your account. If you're unsure who at your company is receiving them, head to Account and click on Teammates.

Adding someone

You can add team members to your company account yourself — see How do I add or remove team members? Each person then controls their own notifications under Account → Notifications.

Picking the right person

Pitches arrive unannounced and expire on a deadline, so it helps if at least one person who can act on them sees them directly. Depending on how you're set up, that's often someone in brand marketing, PR and communications, media, partnerships, affiliate and ecommerce, or integrated marketing.

If an agency manages your Linkby account

Agencies can and do manage Publisher Pitches end to end. Where the brand ultimately approves participation, adding one brand-side contact alongside the agency means both sides see the same opportunity at the same time, rather than waiting for it to be forwarded on. It doesn't change who owns the account or the relationship — it's about visibility on a time-limited opportunity.

If you'd rather keep everything with the agency, that's fine too. What matters is that pitches reach someone who can act before the deadline.
