12.2 Why would I use Publisher Pitches?

What Publisher Pitches give advertisers — editorial opportunities you didn't source yourself, with the commercial control and reporting you already get from Linkby.

Written by Meesha Price

Publisher Pitches give you access to opportunities you wouldn't necessarily have gone looking for.

Publishers know what's coming

They know their editorial calendar, what their audience responds to and which brands belong in the stories they're planning. A Publisher Pitch gives you sight of that thinking before the content exists.

You're evaluating, not briefing

The idea already has shape. Instead of starting with "what should we create and who might take it", you're starting with "is this relevant to us, and do we want in".

The commercial terms stay yours

You review the concept, proposed budget, CPC and timing, and you can accept, counter-offer or decline.

Performance is tracked the same way

Once a pitch becomes a live campaign, it's measured through Linkby like everything else — clicks, budget delivery and your usual reporting. See Where can I see the performance of my campaign?
