12.10 I've accepted a Publisher Pitch — what happens next?

What to do after accepting a Publisher Pitch — finalising the campaign, adding your links and notes, and uploading brand assets so the publisher can start.

Written by Meesha Price

Accepting confirms the commercial opportunity. It doesn't start the campaign — the publisher still needs your campaign details and assets before they can create the content.

Your pitch will show Awaiting brand assets, with a prompt to Finalize Campaign.

1. Complete the campaign details

From the accepted pitch, select Finalize Campaign. Review or complete:

  • Campaign name

  • Brand

  • Link to promote

You can also choose whether to use Linkby to add UTM tags for tracking, and whether to apply affiliate platform tracking to your link to promote.

2. Add anything the publisher should know

The optional notes field is where to put key messaging, product priorities, campaign context or promotional details — anything that helps them write the piece well.

3. Flag discount codes and samples

Tell the publisher whether a discount code is available for them to use, and whether samples can be requested.

4. Upload your assets

Under Upload images and/or relevant additional resources, use the + button to add product images, brand imagery, logos, campaign creative or product guides.

Keep it to what's useful for this specific piece rather than your full asset library — the publisher is writing one story, not rebuilding your brand guidelines.

5. Finalise

Select Finalize Pitch Campaign. We'll let the publisher know it's ready, and the pitch moves to Awaiting Story Link while they create and publish the content.
